has concentrated largely on the design and construction of private gardens.

After studying architecture at Bolton St in Dublin, (1969-1973) I turned my attention to landscape design in 1977.
I believe that the skill of designing is to not only resolve the requirement of client and of site, but to go beyond this and to endeavour to create a ‘garden’ that will become a thing of beauty capable of affecting our emotions.
I am happiest when I am exploring new ideas and new methods, and in so doing, attempting to develop new ways of combining form and shape, along with colour and movement.
I describe myself as a Landscape Post Modernist. |
